No Security Clearance Required (https://jobs.boeing.com/help/glossary.html#security_clearance">about security clearance definitions)Position DescriptionSenior or Lead Engineer that develops, maintains and modifies aircraft structural and interior system and component designs, using 3-D Computer Aided Design tools such as Catia V5 to provide product definition to other engineering groups, production operations, suppliers and external customers throughout the product lifecycle. Manages supplier development, test and production activities and coordinates with the supplier and other engineering groups to optimize the design and achieve program goals. Familiar with composites. Works under minimal or general direction. This requisition is for a permanent position with our Huntsville Design Center team. This position supports a dynamic environment, requiring depth of design and CAD experience, team-oriented skills and relationship building, and personal initiative to drive issues to closure. Other positions are available with temporary assignment (DTA) to Wichita, Kansas for 3-6 months, or Everett, Washington for 3-6 months, returning to a permanent position in Huntsville, Alabama. Other positions are available for international travel including a DTA to Italy for 3-6 months, returning to a permanent position in Huntsville.CompetenciesGeneral

Basic Qualifications For Consideration
