Job Description:
Responsibilities include HVAC, plumbing & fire protection. Design and consulting with clients on various building types including health care, college and university projects, as well asdirect project management experience in developing and reviewing estimates and projections.Verifies that applicable codes and engineering standards practices are being met and makes decisions independently on engineering problems and methods and represents the organization in meetings to resolve important questions and to plan and coordinate work. Also verifies that applicable codes and engineering standards practices are being met.Provides oversight and technical input for the preparation of HVAC, piping design and equipment layout drawings. Plans schedules, conducts, and/or coordinates detailed phases of the engineering work as a part of a major project or small-moderate scope project.Interacts regularly with clients to expand work assignments or market new work and prepares marketing materials and makes calls to potential new clients. Assists with proposals to provide services or obtain funding for engineering projects or programs.Assigns tasks to and directs engineers, technicians and administrative staff as well assupervising calculations by less experienced staff.
