Our client, is seeking an experienced and talented Process Engineer for its Mid-West manufacturing operation.

Responsibilities and Duties: The primary duties of the Process Engineer are - -

- Assist in the development of new or modified process formulations.

Define requirements and specifications for processing and/or handling equipment.

- Review processing techniques and methods applied in manufacturing/fabrication of various products.

- Assist and provide process engineering support after products transfer from design to high-volume production.

- Compile and evaluate test data to determine appropriate process and/or material limits/variables.

- Monitor QC data to assure product specifications and standards are met.

- Interface with Design, Test and Reliability Engineering to solve problems.

- Sustain products with cost reduction and yield improvements.

Minimum Requirements: The successful candidate should possess/must have the following:

1) BS degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.

2) 3 - 5 years of related experience in product/process engineering.

3) Literate in auditing of Quality and Manufacturing Systems, SPC and FEMA is desired.

4) Although not mandatory, the ideal candidate will also have electronics materials processing experience [cutting, trimming, scribing].

5) Excellent problem solving skills related to products, processes and equipment, with the application of DOE and FMEA principles;

6) Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Compensation: $50K to $75K - - depending on level of experience.
