Candidate will develop or provide technical quality review of documentation for mechanical, fluid and thermal systems. Position will include the evaluation of fielded system effectiveness, safety, and supportability, while performing various analyses in support of these activities. Position will require the candidate to prioritize critical systems while selecting appropriate methods to validate or assess the design and operating environment. Activities will include planning and management of smaller projects, and development of master plans/schedules while creating and tracking funding requirements. The candidate will support Air Force maintenance, production and installation facilities as needed, to evaluate issues and to ensure proper implementation of solutions. As a multi-talented individual, the candidate will support establishment of system design criteria and requirements using systems engineering principles. Additionally, the candidate will manage supplier development, test and production activities to optimize integration and achieve program goals.
The candidate must have a strong mechanical design background, and possess good organizational, interpersonal, and problem solving skills. They must have the ability to adjust priorities to multiple demands and unanticipated events. Basic Qualifications For Consideration

ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.Other Job related informationPosition is full time at Tinker AFB, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, supporting the B-52 System Program Office. The successful candidate will report to a manager in Wichita, Kansas, but take daily tasking direction from Government personnel. The candidate must have MRB authority or the ability to obtain such authority within 3 months. The candidate should have had exposure to Air Force product support practices and experience working and troubleshooting in a manufacturing environment. Background in qualifying components to military requirements a plus. Successful candidate must have exceptional communication skills and direct experience working with Air Force personnel. U.S. Citizenship is required. Applicants must be able to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance. B-52 experience is a plus.
