We have a current opening for a part-time Mechanical Engineer. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: br /
br /
• Project design, construction monitoring, and as-built documentationbr /
• Project management and administration including all forms of data logging of events and circumstances impacting the jobbr /
• Processing and review of shop drawings/submittals and RFI’sbr /
• Estimation of project costs and schedules; participating in negotiationsbr /
• Provision of client liaison services including meetings, project reporting, trades coordination, and problem resolutionbr /
• Routine performance of physical site reviews to determine work progress and qualitybr /
• Participation in construction claims review and mitigationbr /
• Troubleshooting problems in existing systemsbr /
• Review of energy conservation and building improvement project plans and drawings and provide technical analysis and feedback for improvement and functionality.br /

Minimum Qualifications:br /
br /
• Education: Bachelor's of Science in Mechanical Engineeringbr /
• Experience coordinating MEP systems with architectural designbr /
• Knowledge of codes, laws and ordinances pertaining to electrical and mechanical systemsbr /
• Ability to design building systems and to read and interpret plans and specificationsbr /
• Ability to estimate costs, monitor and manage construction sites, technically direct othersbr /
• Knowledge of standard contracting regulations, practices, and proceduresbr /
• Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental requirementsbr /
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office productsbr /
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.br /
• Excellent writing skillsbr /
• Ability to travelbr /
br /
Preferred Qualificationsbr /
br /
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in Mechanical Engineering br /
• LEED APbr /
br /
