SRC is currently seeking mechanical engineering interns to design, develop and test leading edge radar and communications technology for winter and spring of 2012. We are looking for an engineer to be immediately integrated into design teams to solve difficult technical problems.

Responsibilities
- Candidate will work closely with engineers and technicians from multiple disciplines to develop and test mechanical designs for both our prototyping and manufacturing businesses
- Candidate will apply mechanical engineering best practices during the creation of complex mechanical drawings and assemblies that meet system level design requirements

Position Requirements

- Completed two years of college and currently enrolled in a a academic program focused in mechanical engineering
- Minimum grade point average of 3.4/4.0 preferred
- Experience 3-D modeling with SolidWorks (preferred), Pro E or equivalent

Security Requirements

Must be a U.S. citizen. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
