As part of our growth, our manufacturing facility, located in Carol Stream, IL is currently seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our Product Development team.

As a Mechanical Design Engineer your innovative and technical skills will be essential as we continue to grow our business. You will be responsible for applying engineering principles for the production of designs of food service equipment, ensuring ease of fabrication, assembly and serviceability. You will also be responsible for coordinating the development of designs, working closely with manufacturing. Furthermore, you will be responsible for identifying and working with suppliers for the purchase of quality, cost-effective components and services, and ensuring design information is communicated and understood with the design intent maintained. Finally, you will assist in the coordination of agency compliance.

Qualifications:

• Technical expertise in 3D modeling using Inventor and AutoCAD

• Expertise in developing food service equipment is desired.

• Excellent organizational skills, interpersonal, communication, planning, technical and problem solving skills.

• Thorough knowledge of sheet metal fabrication design and assembly process (preferred).

• Knowledge of electromechanical design (preferred).

• Agency knowledge (UL, CE, CSA & NSF) (preferred).

• Must be a team player with the ability to work in multi-task environment and make sound business decisions.

Education & Experience:

• Minimum BSME or equivalent engineering degree.

• Experience and advanced skill level in Inventor Solid Modeling.

• Experience in Foodservice manufacturing Industry (Preferred)
