Job Description: (general position)

Position involves studying requirements to determine facility and functional responsibilities of workers; including coordination, review and development of schedules and work plans, along with review and oversight of hazardous procedures to ensure worker and work site safety.

Confer with management and engineering staff to develop solutions and alternatives to resolve, correct and improve operations. Work scope to involve: facility and construction management, safety, environmental, mechanical, hydraulic, cryogenic, and electrical and communications disciplines.

To keep informed of latest developments in the field with a view towards improvement of current programs, facilities and company performance. Must be capable of developing and maintaining good working relationships with customers and facility support contractor personnel. To complete all engineering reports and communication documents on schedule and in a quality manner.

Requirements: BS Degree in Engineering. Strong written and verbal communication skills needed with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Also, required, comprehensive problem solving and decision making skills with the ability to multitask.

Physical Demands: This position may entail lifting, climbing ladders, walking catwalks and performing physical tasks at heights under conditions requiring fall protection.
