INTERNAL SALES ENGINEER - ELECTRICAL/​ELECTRONIC ENGINEERING

THE COMPANY

As part of a $2 billion turnover group, this company dominates the defence market with their innovative engineering products and solutions.​ This particular division has a £7 million turnover over two sites manufacturing cable assemblies and connectors for the MoD or Tier 1 companies.​

THE ROLE

As an Internal Sales Engineer, you will be:

-Taking incoming calls from customers, finding out what their needs are and looking at what solutions you can provide

-Chasing up customers who have recently had quotes

-Closing off orders from £20 to £5000 typically

-Speaking to buyers, purchasers up to materials director level

THE CANDIDATE

This Internal Sales Engineer must have:

-1-2 years sales experience

-A Qualification in either Electrical Engineering or Electronics

-Ability to build and develop relationships

-A good listener and a good communicator

-Able to build and maintain relationships
