Job Title: Die Design Engineer

Location: Longview, TX

Crosby – Lebus Mfg. has an opening for an experienced Die Design Engineer. Minimum 10 years in designing dies and tooling. Duties will include:

• Lead and approve work of Die Designer, Tool-Path Programmer, and Tooling Designer/Drafter.

• Work with Die Shop Foreman to improve efficiency of operations.

• Order die steel and coordinate production of new designs (dies and tooling).

• Provide die/tool costing on new products.

• Facilitate all outside vendors for die sinking, repairs, etc.

With training and experience in:

• Die Design (Design Engineering degree and/or apprenticeship)

• Experience with Pro-E or similar design software

• Machining knowledge and experience (hands-on)

• Experience with identifying, investigating, and improving die breakage or problems.

The candidate must have excellent communication skills both verbal and written, with the ability to be a team player. We offer excellent benefits and salary commensurate with experience. Drug/Alcohol screens required.
