Commercial Gas Engineer in Mechanical Engineering

The ideal candidate will need a strong mechanical background for planned and reactive maintenance covering gas boilers and HVAC maintenance, they will be required to safely and efficiently install, maintain and repair plant and equipment within the portfolio.

Candidates must be Commercial Gas Safe qualified, understand package burners and have BMS & controls awareness.

Work to include pipe fitting and mechanical maintenance. The ideal candidate must have the ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team, carrying out routine PPM and minor repair works.

Carry out skilled planned maintenance, repair and improvements. Install new plant and equipment when required Diagnose and repair faults on systems and plant.

Be proactive in reporting faults to equipment, buildings and fittings.

Work in accordance with Work Instructions, Safe Working Practices and Method Statements ensuring relevant paperwork is completed in an accurate timely manner.

Qualifications/experience/skills required: Commercial Gas Safe Qualification.
