Key Responsibilities:
•Assists or leads the testing and analysis of rotating components of wind turbines following current industry standards, including correction of imbalances or unstable operations.
•Directs and coordinates activities to ensure products and systems conform to engineering design and customer specifications.
•Serves as a technical resource for both internal and external customers. Carries out site visits, may assist or prepare client proposals.
•Provides leadership to team members and support staff.
•Interprets data and observations to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Meets industry guidelines and advises management accordingly.
•Maintains working knowledge of new technologies developed by the industry and government regulators.
•Develops and supervises the preparation of physical drawings/detailed technical specifications.
•Other duties as assigned.
•Travel 30-40%

Qualifications Required:
•BS in mechanical or related engineering field from an accredited college or university;
•Minimum 5 years experience in manufacturing or wind energy.
•Hands-on experience in the static dynamic balancing of wind turbines or rotary machinery
•Field service and customer support experience
•Good interpersonal and exceptional team skills
•Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of AutoCAD and latest mechanical design software preferred.
• Hands-on working knowledge of scheduling, costing and budgeting software and project management reporting.
