Job Title: Associate Offshore Process Engineer

Completes routine engineering and design assignments which require the application of basic principles and elementary theory and available data in the process engineering field. Prepares or assists in preparing fundamental process engineering computations, P&ID's (Process & Instrument Designs), material quality take-offs, estimates, and designs. Assists in preparing detailed requisitions for material or equipment. Assists in reviewing supplier drawings and in technical bid analyses under the guidance of a more senior process engineer. Assists in the preparation and issuance of specifications, data sheets, and other construction documents. Provides input to CAD designers and drafters.Job RequirementsBS or MS in related field or applicable discipline, typically an engineering degree; or equivalent experience if allowed by law. EIT preferred. Basic knowledge of applicable theories, practices, and accepted procedures. Generally 0-2 years of experience in field. Entry level professional position within the department. Performs relatively routine activities and tasks related to their area of focus under close supervision. Typically requires pre-knowledge of the discipline theories, principals and practices learned through college course work or prior work experiences. Develops broader knowledge through performing structured functional assignments, such as collecting and analyzing data related to specific tasks. Greatest focus is on learning and application of the department skills. Able to learn and adequately demonstrate all of the basic skills needed for advancement. Computer proficiency required; Familiar with engineering software applications; Basic analytical and problem solving skills. Accuracy and attention to detail important. Ability to meet deadlines and complete assignments. Basic written and verbal communication skills in English are important. Commitment to customer service and ability to work in a team-oriented environment. Ability to maintain confidential information is critical. Generally characterized as a "Learner". Requires decreasing amount of task oversight and review during time in position. Typically will interface with departmental staff and supervisory and lower level management, but rarely outside customers. General attributes required of all WorleyParsons employees include: Zero Harm, Action Orientation, Building Effective Business Relationships, Commitment, Customer Focus, Dealing with Change, Drive for Results, Integrity and Trust, and Basic Leadership Skills.
