Hire Place Solutions is a recruiting firm representing a world class leader in the manufacturing and servicing of Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) Technology, which has an opportunity available for an Applications Engineer to be responsible for providing customer support and training of software and measurement systems in the Irvine, California area.

Qualified candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering field; or a combination of experience, education and training will be considered. A minimum of 5 (five) years experience in 3D coordinate measurement technology and CNC measurement, in an industrial setting, is required. Experience in the plastic injection molding, Medical, Precision Component, or Aerospace manufacturing fields is a plus.

Also, qualified candidates must possess excellent communication (written and oral) and time management skills, and have the ability to travel domestically and internationally.
