We are a dynamic and fast growing company looking for talented engineers.

IDEA stands for Innovative Design, Engineering and Analysis. The company specializes in Aircraft Structures, Systems, Interiors, Mechanical components and MRO support. We operate a full suite of MSC Software (MD NASTRAN / MARC / PATRAN / DYTRAN / ADAMS/etc).

The candidate will perform stress analysis calculations and author stress analysis documentation on a variety of aircrafts and different commodities. Ranging from primary / secondary structure, mechanical components and interiors.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Applied loads analysis
2. Interface loads analysis - Rigid body and Finite Element
3. Primary and secondary structure analysis
4. Interiors analysis
5. Mechanical systems analysis
6. Finite Element Analysis

Required Skills: Strong fundamentals knowledge of stress analysis and applying that knowledge to hand calculations. Experience with PATRAN & NASTRAN. Proficiency in MS Office Suite including Word & Excel.

Preferred Skills: Wide range of experience with different aircraft commodities. Knowledge of CATIA V5 or SolidWorks.

Education and Experience: This position requires a BS engineering degree with at least 4 years experience in the aerospace industry.

Reports To: Vice President
Status: Exempt direct employee, Must be US citizen or Green Card Holder

Compensation: Salary dependent on eng. exp. 3 weeks PTO, $200/month health
