Ultimate Aerostructures (ULTAero) is seeking aeronautical engineering contractors. Contractors to be hired on a per project basis based on speciality and availability. ULTAero is seeking contractors with structural, avionics, powerplant and/or flight testing experience.

ULTAero focuses on product development for civilian fixed wing aircraft and helicopters. ULTAero requires contractors to assist in the completion of Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) approval packages. Contractors will work with ULTAero certification engineers and may be responsible for completing technical documents which may include, but are not limited to, the following:

-Compiling compliance program
-Static structural analysis and fatigue/damage tolerant analysis
-Flight manual supplement
-Instructions for continued airworthiness
-Electrical load analysis
-Design evaluation report showing compliance to various FAR standards
-Reading and/or creating installation, part and wiring drawings with AutoCAD
-Ground and flight test programs

Educational and Technical Requirements:

-Minimum 3 years professional experience
-Understanding of federal aviation regulations
-Educational Requirement: Bachelors Degree in applied science, Engineering (BSME/BSAE) or ABET Accredited Equivalent
-Experience with PMA/STC approvals under FAA/EASA/Transport Canada
-Should be familiar with CAD software
-Asset: Signing authority as a Designated Engineering Representative

-Reliably meets time lines and date restrictions
-Communicates effectively and timely through email and phone correspondence

Job Description:

-Available immediately
-10-20 hours a week to start
-Opportunity for full time employment after probationary period
-$20-$50 per hour
-Willing to work on per project or 30 day pay schedule
-Candidates must be US or Canadian citizen or permanent resident
